Why Africa?

  • It is Africa’s hour. Africans are rising up in great numbers to take hold of the promises of God for their continent. Everywhere you turn you find a spirit of entrepreneurship and vision for new things.

  • God will not evangelize the world without Africans playing their part. African leaders have yet to find their place in significant numbers in world evangelization.

  • The spiritual center of gravity in the world has shifted to Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The greatest growth, the greatest openness and the greatest moves of God’s spirit are happening in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and increasingly, in the Middle East.

  • All Nations is entering a new season. God has put it in our hearts that in this season we are to build our work among the people we want to reach and mobilize. To do that we have to mobilize and equip people of color to go to the cultures and tribes and nations that are yet to be reached with the gospel.

  • African leaders are crying out for spiritual mentors. There are hundreds and thousands of teachable, dedicated leaders in Africa who are crying out for training and mentoring. God has called All Nations to make disciples, train leaders and plant churches in Africa and the developing world.

  • Apostolic Passion. God has put apostolic passion in my heart; I am under a divine mandate to impart that passion to others. I realize it sounds a bit messianic. Forgive me, but it burns in me. I long to see the church become strategic as it aligns itself with the mission of God to go north into Africa and East into Asia.

  • We love South Africa! We really love Cape Town!! We love the many cultures, the diversity of languages, the wildlife, and the sunsets. WE like hearing the animals at night in the bush, the lions roar and the hyena’s cackle, and the jackals sing their song to each other. We love the cosmopolitan nature of Cape Town, and the edgy feeling of being in a continent that is in the process of emerging from hundreds of years of oppression and poverty. Africa is alive, changing, and ready to find her place in the family of nations. We stand with her to find her place in God’s purposes.

  • God has spoken to us. God has told us we have an inheritance in South Africa and in the continent of Africa. We are called to “all nations” - for this reason we want to serve God by living in South Africa.

  • God loves Africa. He planned her, created her in his image, and designed a destiny for Africa that no one else can fulfill.

So pray with us. Join us in the journey. Join us as we love and serve Africa!
